Hello. I have been trying to find a Mull contact who can direct me to locations on the island that would be particularly interesting for Lichens. I have a short visit lined up in mid-May and would like to spend some of the time to see the Atlantic seaboard species.

Sorry, it looks like none of us spotted your comment until now. Hope you had a good trip. Plantlife publishes some good guides to lichens of Atlantic oakwoods. Tireragan nature reserve (http://highlandrenewal.org/assets/files/Tireragan_Leaflet.pdf) and also Ardura woods (http://gateway.snh.gov.uk/sitelink/siteinfo.jsp?pa_code=82) would be my suggestions but it’s probably too late for you this time.
